As we approach the final week of this academic year, it’s hard to believe how quickly the time has flown — and what a wonderful, successful year it has been for everyone!

Over the past few weeks, our focus has been on supporting the children through change and transition. We’ve had some fantastic transition visits to new classes, and for some children, even new schools. Our staff have also been meeting to carefully hand over important information about your children to their new teachers, ensuring that we are fully prepared to give them the best possible start in September.

New Tree-Themed Class Names for 2025!

From September, we’ll be moving away from numbered classes and instead naming our classes after trees — bringing a fresh and natural theme to the school!

Here are the new class names and their teachers:

Reception

  • Bay Class – Miss Pearson

  • Beech Class – Mrs Curran

  • Birch Class – Miss Davies

Year 1

  • Cedar Class – Miss Kempster

  • Cherry Class – Mrs Middleton

  • Chestnut Class – Miss Ezermalis

Year 2

  • Hawthorn Class – Miss Bacro

  • Hazel Class – Miss Butt

  • Holly Class – Mrs Knight

We’re so proud of everything the children have achieved this year, and we can’t wait to build on that success as we head into an exciting new school year  in September.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and hope you all have an enjoyable summer.

Mrs. Eldridge

Everyone tried their best, cheered each other on, and had a brilliant time. It was lovely to see so much support all around the field.

A big thank you to all the grown-ups who came to watch and cheer – and to all the teachers and helpers who made the day run so smoothly.

Well done to every single child who took part – you were all superstars!

We’re already looking forward to next year!
