As we begin another busy and exciting term at KPIA, we would like to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to our fantastic PTA.

You may have noticed the beautiful new planters that have recently been added to the playground. These lovely additions have already brightened our outdoor space and created a more welcoming environment for the children to enjoy. They provide wonderful opportunities for the children to learn about plants and nature, while also taking pride in their surroundings.

We have been talking to the children about how to look after the plants carefully and respectfully, and we would greatly appreciate parents reinforcing this message before and after school to help us keep the area looking its best.

This project would not have been possible without the hard work, time and dedication of our PTA. We are incredibly grateful for their continued support and commitment to enriching the experiences of all our children.

World Book Day

We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day at school this week! The children looked wonderful in their creative costumes and clearly had great fun dressing up as their favourite book characters.

This year our activities were based around the book Up and Down. The children took part in a range of fun tasks inspired by the story. One of the highlights was exploring the playground to a scene from the book, as well as searching around the school to spot the penguin.

At the end of the day, every child received a free book to take home and enjoy. If your child has not received one, please feel free to collect a copy from the school office, as we still have some spares available.

We also hope you enjoyed our " Masked Reader" Class Dojo. Don’t forget to submit your guesses before Monday to be entered into the prize draw!

Thank you for helping us make World Book Day such a fun and memorable celebration of reading.

 Scholastic Book Fair

We are delighted to share that our Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place from Thursday 19th to Tuesday 24th March in the School Hall. The fair will be open each day after school from 3:00pm.

Please note that card payments only will be accepted.

To celebrate the Book Fair, we are inviting pupils to take part in a special drawing competition. Children are encouraged to draw or paint a picture of their favourite book character to enter.

1 winner will receive £10 in book vouchers.
3 runners-up will each receive £5 vouchers to spend at the Book Fair.

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore exciting new books and develop a love of reading. Every purchase made at the fair helps us to earn free books for our school library, so your support truly makes a difference.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to the Book Fair!

Library Upgrade

Exciting things are happening in our Library! We’re currently giving it a wonderful upgrade, including a brand-new scanning system and lots of beautiful new books ready to be discovered.

Soon our shelves will be filled with fantastic stories for everyone to enjoy, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who have been busy labelling books and scanning them onto the new system. Your time and dedication make such a difference, and we truly appreciate all your hard work.

We’re so excited to see everything come together and can’t wait to reveal the finished result. Watch this space!
