As we reach the end of another busy and successful school year, we would like to say how incredibly proud we are of every one of our children. They have worked so hard, embraced new challenges with enthusiasm, and grown in confidence throughout the year. It has been a joy to watch them learn, develop and achieve so much.

At this time of year, we also say a special goodbye to our wonderful Year 2 children as they move on to the next stage of their learning journey. We are so proud of all they have achieved during their time with us and wish them every success and happiness in their new schools. At the same time, we are looking forward to welcoming our new Reception children and their families in September as they begin their own exciting journey with us.

We would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our parents and carers for your continued support, encouragement and partnership. Your support makes such a difference, and we are truly grateful. We hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing summer filled with lots of happy family moments, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in September, ready for another exciting year.

Many thanks,

Mel Eldridge

Staffing Update

As we come to the end of the school year, we will be saying goodbye to Mrs Knight, Miss Wooding, Mrs Pearce and Mr Cox. We would like to thank each of them for the care, commitment and dedication they have shown to our children and school community. We wish them every happiness and success in the next chapter of their journeys.

We are also delighted to be welcoming several new members of staff in September. Joining our teaching team are Mrs Powell, Miss Bailey and Miss Fairbairn, and we are pleased to welcome Mrs Tanimola, Mr Chukwuka, Mrs Smith, Miss Soltesova, Miss Talbot and Mrs Downie, who will be joining us as Teaching Assistants across the school and in our Rainbow Provision. We know they will all be fantastic additions to our school family, and we look forward to introducing them to our children and families in the new school year.

Thank You Mrs Akinwale

We would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Akinwale, one of our wonderful school parents, for generously volunteering her time this term.

Mrs Akinwale has been an incredible support to our school, helping with everything from listening to children read to assisting at the school fair, as well as many other activities

We are truly grateful for everything you do for our school.

Year 2 Leavers

Our Year 2 pupils gave a wonderful performance at Carey Baptist Church, and we couldn't be prouder of them. They sang beautifully, spoke their lines with confidence, and showcased all they have achieved during their time at Kettering Park Infant Academy.

It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate their time at KPIA and reflect on the many happy memories they have made.

Thank you to all the families who joined us to support this special occasion. We wish our Year 2 children every success and happiness as they move on to their junior schools – we know they will continue to shine!

Summer Fayre

What a fantastic Summer Fayre we had! We hope everyone who attended had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the activities on offer.

A huge thank you to our amazing PTA, dedicated staff, volunteers, and everyone who came along to support the event. Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we raised an incredible £1,000 for the PTA. These funds will go towards enhancing opportunities and resources for our children.

Thank you once again for helping to make the event such a great success!

Year 1 Trip to Twycross Zoo

What a wonderful day our Year 1 children had at Twycross Zoo! The children loved seeing a wide variety of animals, including monkeys, giraffes, penguins and meerkats, and were fascinated to learn more about their habitats and how they are cared for.

The children were an absolute credit to our school. They showed excellent manners, listened carefully, and represented Kettering Park Infant Academy brilliantly.

A huge thank you to our staff and parent volunteers for giving up their time to support the trip and help make it such a special and memorable experience for our Year 1 children.

EYFS Pirate Day

Our EYFS classes had a fantastic time celebrating Pirate Day with a range of exciting outdoor activities. The children enjoyed listening and dancing to pirate-themed music, bravely walking the plank, and having lots of fun with water play. They also took part in an exciting treasure hunt, working together to search for hidden treasures. It was a wonderful day filled with lots of fun, imagination, and adventure!
