Dear Parents and Carers,

As we approach the end of the academic year, I am writing to update you regarding the leadership of the school. After two and a half wonderful years as your Executive Headteacher, the time has come for me to move on and support another school. I am incredibly proud to leave the school in a fantastic position. This achievement is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and spirit of our entire school community. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our talented staff for their unwavering hard work, to you, the parents, for your constant support, and most importantly, to our brilliant pupils.

I am delighted to share Mrs Eldridge is to become the substantive Headteacher, supported by Deputy Head, Miss Cox. I have absolute confidence that the school will continue to thrive and achieve great things under their leadership.

Thank you again for all your support and look forward to seeing you all in the coming weeks.

Mr Cox

Executive Headteacher

Attendance and Punctuality Reminder

We would like to remind families of the importance of good attendance and punctuality. Being at school every day and arriving on time helps children to settle quickly, feel confident, and make the most of their learning.

The school day begins promptly at:

  • Reception classes: 8:50am
  • Year 1 & 2: 8:40am

Pupils who arrive late can miss important instructions and may find it harder to catch up with learning.

If your child is unwell, please inform the school office as soon as possible.

Where possible, medical or other appointments should be arranged outside of school hours. We appreciate your continued support.

Our Egg-citing Hatching Adventure!

Students been full of excitement as we have been incubating chicken eggs and eagerly waiting to see if they hatch!

This morning, the Reception children had great fun as we candled the eggs, using a special light to look inside and check on their progress. It was amazing to see how many chicks are growing and developing inside their shells. The children were fascinated by what they could see and enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a chick.

We can't wait to see our fluffy chicks hatch over the coming days!

Rainbow Room Trip to The Green Patch

The children in Rainbow Room had a wonderful visit to The Green Patch, where they enjoyed a fantastic day exploring the outdoors. They were excited about meeting the chickens and spent lots of time engaging in imaginative play in the mud kitchen and sandpit.

It was a lovely day spent in nature, giving the children the opportunity to learn, play, and enjoy the outdoors together.

Phonics Screening

This week, our amazing Year 1 children completed their Phonics Screening Check, and we are so incredibly proud of every single one of them!

It has been wonderful to see how much progress they have made with their reading this year, and they should all be very proud of themselves.

A huge well done to all of our superstars, and thank you to our wonderful families for all of your support with reading at home – it really does make a difference!

Rainbow Room

We are delighted to share that, from September, our SEND provision will be expanding to include Junior SEND provision, which will be managed and led by Kettering Park Infant Academy School.

This development will provide a seamless and supportive transition for pupils accessing the provision. The provision will be led by Mrs Pooley (SENDCo) and Miss Burn (Class Teacher), who will work closely with pupils, families and staff to ensure high-quality, personalised support.

We are confident that this enhancement will continue to provide a nurturing and effective environment for our children and strengthen our partnership with families.

Miss Bacro

We are delighted to share the wonderful news that Miss Bacro is expecting a baby girl, who is due to arrive in September. We would like to offer our warmest congratulations to her and wish her a happy and healthy pregnancy as she prepares for this exciting new chapter.

We know she will make a fantastic mum, and we look forward to celebrating this special journey with her over the coming months.
