It has been a busy and rewarding start to this term across the school, and I would like to begin by sharing how proud I am of our pupils. I recently had the pleasure of attending the school trips for both Year 2 and EYFS, and I was truly impressed by the way the children conducted themselves. They represented the school wonderfully, demonstrating excellent behaviour, curiosity, and enthusiasm throughout the visits. They were a real credit to our school community.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the parents and carers who generously gave their time to support these trips. Your help makes a significant difference in ensuring these experiences run smoothly and safely, and we are very grateful for your continued support.

Looking ahead, we have a busy and exciting term planned. There will be many opportunities for the children to take part in special events, enrichment activities, and continued learning both inside and outside the classroom. We are committed to providing a rich and engaging experience for all pupils and we will continue to keep you informed of key dates and events, and we appreciate your ongoing support and involvement.

Year 2 Trip to Rockingham Castle

Year Two recently enjoyed an exciting school trip to Rockingham Castle, where they stepped back in time to explore history! The children took part in a range of engaging activities, including exploring the castle grounds, learning about life in the past, and discovering how the castle has changed over the years. They were particularly fascinated by the impressive architecture and the stories of kings and queens who once visited. The trip not only brought their classroom learning to life but also encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and lots of thoughtful questions.

EYFS Trip to West Lodge Farm

Our EYFS children had a wonderful  day on their recent trip to West Lodge Farm. The visit provided a fantastic hands-on learning experience, allowing the children to meet and a variety of friendly farm animals, including goats, sheep, and rabbits. They were especially excited to take part in tractor rides and explore the outdoor play areas, developing both their confidence and curiosity. The trip supported their understanding of the world around them, linking beautifully to their current learning about animals and habitats. The children behaved brilliantly throughout the day and represented the school with pride—we are very proud of them all!

Summer Fair - Friday 3rd July

We are excited to announce our upcoming Summer Fair, taking place on Friday 3rd July! This is always a wonderful community event, but we need your help to make it a success. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist on the day, including face painters and anyone interested in running a stall. We would also greatly appreciate any raffle prizes or donations. If you are able to help in any way, please contact the school office—we’d love to hear from you!

We would like to remind all parents and carers that school meals at Kettering Park Infant Academy are free of charge for all students. The menu has recently been updated with a range of new and exciting options for children to enjoy, so we encourage you to take a look.
